Team registration

Free registration for Inland Taipan Social Basketball Club. Register 5–8 players and one adult coach. Need 5 on court to start — Lone Wolves fill gaps. Matching shirts required; Teams that receive assigned Lone Wolves must provide them a matching team shirt — same as your own players.

Only one or two players? Join the Lone Wolves list to be matched with a team that has space.

Each game, one parent (or guardian) from one team assists the referee, and one parent from the other team keeps score. The club will brief volunteers on the day — no experience needed.

Adults change everything on game day — refs, scoring, coaching, canteen — but only junior players belong on the roster. Under 18s means players under 18; 18+ adults don’t play.

By registering a team or participating in any Inland Taipan Social Basketball activity, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Liability Disclaimer – Inland Taipan Social Basketball Club (Broken Hill)

Voluntary participation — All players and coaches participate voluntarily and understand that basketball involves physical activity and inherent risks, including injury, illness, or property damage.

No insurance coverage — The Inland Taipan Social Basketball Club does not provide personal accident, medical, or liability insurance. Participants and guardians accept full responsibility for any injury or loss that may occur.

Assumption of risk — Players, coaches, and guardians accept all risks associated with outdoor play, including weather conditions, surface hazards, and interactions with other participants.

Release of liability — To the extent permitted by law, participants and guardians release the organiser(s), referees, and volunteers from any liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation.

Medical consent — In the event of injury, participants authorise first aid or emergency medical treatment as deemed necessary.

Coach responsibility — Each team's coach is responsible for supervising players during games and ensuring safe conduct on court.

Weather policy — Games are subject to cancellation or postponement due to unsafe weather conditions. Decisions will be announced by 7:30 AM on game day.

Photo consent (optional) — Participants may be photographed during games for community updates. You may opt in on the registration form.
